A gamepad tester reads your controller live so you can see exactly what it's reporting — the fastest way to diagnose the most common controller complaint: analog stick drift. This tool detects a connected gamepad through the browser and displays every button and both sticks in real time.
Stick drift shows up as movement the tool registers when you aren't touching the stick. Each axis is displayed to four decimal places, so even a tiny non-zero reading at rest — say 0.0100 when it should be 0.0000 — is obvious. Watch the numbers with your hands off the controller: values that won't settle to zero confirm drift; clean zeros mean the sticks are healthy.
Beyond sticks, every face button, bumper, trigger, and D-pad direction lights up as you press it, so you can confirm nothing is stuck or unresponsive. It works with standard controllers over USB or Bluetooth, entirely in the browser, with nothing uploaded.
- Connect your controller via USB or Bluetooth.
