Webcam Test
Preview your camera and check quality before a meeting. Nothing is recorded or uploaded. Runs on your device — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.
Before an interview or video call, a fast camera check confirms you're framed, lit, and that the right webcam is active — no more discovering a black screen when the meeting starts. This tool requests camera permission and shows a live preview of exactly what Zoom, Meet, or Teams would see.
A black or frozen preview is almost always a permission or device problem. Allow access when prompted; if you blocked it, use the padlock or camera icon in the address bar to re-enable, and if you have more than one camera, switch to the correct one. Closing other apps that might be holding the camera often frees it up.
The preview is live-only: the tool never records, stores, or uploads video. Your camera feed is shown back to you and nothing else — it stays entirely on your device.
- Click to start the webcam test.
- Choose Allow when the browser asks for camera permission.
- Check the live preview for framing and lighting.
- If it's black, fix the permission or select the correct camera.
