Wheel of Names
Spin a customizable wheel to randomly pick a winner from a list of names. Paste one name per line, shuffle the order, and optionally remove each winner after they're picked. Runs on your device — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.
Wheel of Names turns a plain list into a spinning wheel that lands on one name at random. Paste one name per line — a class roster for cold-calling, a raffle or giveaway entry list, a standup speaking-order draw, or a chore-assignment list — and spin. Whoever the wheel lands on is the winner.
A Shuffle button randomizes the order of the list before you spin, and a "Remove winner after spin" toggle drops each winner from the list automatically once the wheel stops, so you can keep spinning for a second, third, or fourth pick without retyping anything or risking the same name coming up twice.
The wheel is drawn on an HTML canvas and spun entirely in your browser — there's no server involved, so the names you paste in, whether real students, coworkers, or contest entrants, are never uploaded anywhere. The spin itself is genuinely random each time; it isn't weighted toward any name regardless of list order or length.
- Paste one name per line into the list box.
- Optionally click Shuffle to randomize the order first.
- Turn on "Remove winner after spin" if you'll be drawing multiple winners.
- Click Spin and watch the wheel land on a name.
- Repeat to draw more winners — removed names won't come up again.
