PDF to Word

Convert a PDF into an editable Word (.docx) document — headings, paragraphs, lists, and tables — entirely in your browser. Works best on digitally-created PDFs; scanned pages need OCR. Runs on your device — nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored.

Good to know
  • Works best on digitally-created PDFs (from Word, Google Docs, etc). Scanned PDFs need OCR and won't convert here.
  • Borderless tables (no visible grid lines) are the weakest link — detection is a heuristic and can miss or mis-split them.
  • Merged or spanning cells, and multi-line cells, are not supported.
  • Two or more separate tables on the same page are read as one table, which produces extra columns and can pull a heading in as a table row. Split them onto separate pages for a clean result.
  • Right-to-left tables (Arabic, Hebrew) can come out wrong — columns may collapse together and cells are not marked right-to-left. Arabic paragraph text converts correctly; this affects tables only.
  • Images are not carried over in this version — only text, headings, lists, and tables.
  • Everything runs on your device. Your file is never uploaded.
About PDF to Word

PDF to Word converts a PDF into an editable .docx file entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server — the PDF is parsed and rebuilt on your own device, and the file never leaves your computer.

The converter analyses the PDF's own text and vector geometry to recover headings, paragraphs, lists, and tables — there is no AI model and no external service involved. This works best on digitally-created PDFs (exported from Word, Google Docs, or similar), where the text and layout information is embedded directly in the file.

Because the conversion is structural rather than visual, the result is a genuinely editable Word document rather than an image pasted into a page.
